My pooches might as well be my children. Madison and Bella are treated like they're a part of the family and you know what, they are. They have trendy collars, pet beds, and treats from the doggie bakery. Sound ridiculous? It might be, but I'm not alone. Pet lovers make up a huge portion of the population and their buying power can be massive. Why not make good choices when you go to spoil your special baby? Here are some fabulous green pet accessories:

  • Buy eco-chic pet beds from Paw Digs. Eco Slumber™ beds combine eco- fabric, made with 85 percent recycled fibers and then filled with 100 percent recycled fiber fill.

  • Buy all hemp collars from Earthdog. Earthdog's all hemp collars are not only made with a 100 percent renewable resource; they're super stylish and cute and will make your pup look like a million bucks.

  • Carry your pup in green carriers by Eco Hound. I like the urban pet hemp carrier. Eco hound manufactures products made from sustainable and renewable sources such as hemp and organic cotton which are gentle to humans, animals, and our environment.

Victori Stilwell, from Animal Planet's It's Me or the Dog, explains why the proper accessories are vital for dealing with a pet suffering from separation anxiety.
