If you get the itch to turn your bulky t-shirts into something a little more glamorous during the warmer months of the year like I do, worry not—most sexy transformations can take place in a matter of minutes with just a pair of scissors. In fact, that's why I started this whole Make Your Own T-Shirt series. There are enough t-shirts in the world already. There are enough materials for us all to use and reuse and still be cute little fashionistas. But not enough ladies out there are aware of just how much they can accomplish with just a pair of scissors.
My t-shirt this week has cute ties on the shoulders. And it's easy to make.
How to make a cute shirt with shoulder ties from a T-shirt:

Locate your t-shirt. Any old one will do. I would, however, recommend that you use a t-shirt as close to your actual size as possible for this project.

Cut a plunging neckline. Do this so that it leaves skinny straps. Cut a slit at the top of each strap and then proceed to tie the two ends together.

This shirt is totally cute and when you make it from and old t-shirt, it's also totally green. Green and sexy? Perfect combination.
