Choose an Empty Makeup Case

Locate your case. I had an empty makeup case from ages ago that I had kept for future use. Wash it out.

Pour some cinnamon into the case.

Add Sugar

Pour some powdered sugar into the case. The amount will depend on how light you want the mixture to be for your skin.

Mix Together

Mix the powders together. I used a paint brush for this part.

Add an Essential Oil

Mix a bit of your favorite essential oil into the mix. Not only will this leave it smelling good, but it'll bond the powders together and keep them firm in the case.

Apply and Enjoy

Apply with a brush and enjoy!

This project is a great way to bronze your skin with some items from around your house—and without supporting the cosmetics industry.
