When it comes down to beauty, a lot of women will wear whatever they feel makes them look best. It seems to me like women will put just about any cosmetic on their face without thinking through the ingredients of that item carefully. From the powders to the lip gloss, I think it's time we started doing makeup the old-fashioned way: handmade. Not only is handmade makeup better for our environment because it doesn't encourage the heavy pollution tied in with the cosmetics industry and it doesn't have the same kinds of dangerous chemicals seeping into our pores, but I'd wager a bet that natural materials on our skin will handle much better than unfamiliar chemicals.
I recently made my own portable bronzer and you can, too!
How to make your own portable bronzer compact:

Locate your case. I had an empty makeup case from ages ago that I had kept for future use. Wash it out.

Pour some powdered sugar into the case. The amount will depend on how light you want the mixture to be for your skin.

Mix the powders together. I used a paint brush for this part.

Mix a bit of your favorite essential oil into the mix. Not only will this leave it smelling good, but it'll bond the powders together and keep them firm in the case.
