DIY Beach Hair

If you want that summer beach hair during the colder months, you don't have to buy a product to get it.

This may sound pretty generic, but...I love the beach. Most people do. Why not bathe in the ocean roar and warm sunshine (as long as you're doing it safely)? Each year, I spend much of my summer sprawled on the sand with a book in hand. There's always something about my hair after a day at the beach that I have a hard time mustering up on non-beach days; particularly in the colder weather. In fact, lots of women love that wavy beach hair and hair products have come along supplying this demand.

But why buy 'beach hair' spray if you can make it yourself?

Many of these companies are throwing yucky chemicals into their mixes (probably just to convince the masses they can't make a similar solution themselves). Going natural is always what I prefer. If you're like me, make your own spray for a 'beach hair' look.

Here's what you need:
1 cup of water
4 or 5 drops of the essential oil of your choosing
2 teaspoons of sea salt
Mix these ingredients together and fill up a spray bottle with the mixture

There you go! Spray this stuff on damp hair and scrunch.

Instant beach hair without the chemicals.
