Carrie Bradshaw would approve.

Luckily, being green and girly isn’t mutually exclusive—especially with vintage being so en vogue. Eco-friendly females can dress in whimsical, thrift shop finds, bedazzle themselves in estate gems and baubles and even furnish their boudoir in a way that Carrie Bradshaw would approve.

Case and point? This adorable, DIY Girly Glam Vanity where eco-chicks can store their all natural makeup and perfumes, bamboo brushes, and other chotchkies.

If you’ve been dreaming of a more luxurious makeup routine, skip the ecological and pocketbook costs of new furniture and opt for a used Craigslist piece that you can pretty up yourself.

Bonus eco-points if you finish it using Low-VOC paint or slightly more sustainable spray paints.
