The Look:
- Gabrielle Union in Chic Winter White (Slide 1)
We've been seeing a lot of simple, classic black and white on the red carpet lately, but few have pulled off white as well as Gabrielle Union at Ideal Bite's Best in Green Awards. This empire waist sheath dress is modern and unfussy; the cap sleeves show off her well-toned arms and the neckline adds visual interest without being too revealing. Not everyone can pull off a front pleat like this, but Union does it flawlessly. - EcoSkin Dashen dress (Slide 2)
Though the neckline is more open than the verision Union wore, the shoulder accents and empire waist create a similar effect-and in a blend of hemp and ivory-colored silk, it's a much greener alternative. (Envi, $235) - Charmone Cinnamon shoes (Slide 3)
These perfectly flirty velvet peep-toe heels sport feminine ruffles along the heel and toe, giving even the simplest outfit a little added pizzaz. They're also vegan and made without sweatshop labor. (Charmone Shoes, $249) - Stella McCartney Damask Embossed Clutch (Slide 4)
This vegan Stella McCartney clutch lets you carry your essentials in animal-friendly style, while the textured fabric and gold frame let it go easily from daytime to night out. (Stella McCartney, $339)
