There are tons of reasons we love this Orla Kiely dishtowel purse from thimbly things. The mod flower pattern is feminine and fun without being too cutesy; the bright yellow handle and teeny ruffle make it oh-so-summer appropriate; it's just the right size for easy carrying of your warm-weather essentials; and it's an awesome upcycling of a dishtowel that the crafter claims she stained with chocolate cake batter. The towel is just one of the patterns Kiely put together for her limited-edition Target housewares line, and word is it's difficult to find in stores; check eBay for sets in good condition and for other kitchen fabrics that, with a little creativity, work even far away from the stove and sink.

Bonus: It looks like this blogger wasn't the first to turn towels from this Orla Kiely line intoa bag: it's been a tote; beach bag; buttoned shoulder bag; and contrast-handled carryall. Which one will you choose?
