When you flip through the pages of boho, 'lazing around' gets a PR boost.

Boho is the first green fashion and lifestyle magazine to be printed on 100% recycled paper, with natural soy inks and no glossy finishes.

Its first issue hit the stands in August, and the buzz is good. All the cool eco fashionista types on Eco Chick love it, so that's one great endorsement.

Another big plus comes with boho's support of soles4SOULS. At a recent launch party, the magazine requested attendees bring a 'gently worn' pair of shoes to the fete in support of the sole-full charity. Asking New York's well-heeled fashion-types to show up to a downtown party with old shoes in hand? Now that's groundbreaking.

You can find the following boho recommendations online, but here's a quick summary:

  1. Throw a Party: Create 'Giving Back is the New Black' invitations and ask everyone to bring $5 and a pair of shoes as entry to the party.

  2. Clean out your Closet: Barely worn shoes? Shoes with price tags still on them? Donate them to soles4SOULS.

  3. Become a Shoe Sponsor: Buy a pair of shoes for a kid every time you buy a pair of your own, or purchase a pair directly on soles4souls.org.
